Google AdWords – Important Tip for #BlackFriday and #CyberMonday + Podcast

Google AdWords just rolled out yet another feature, and right in time for the two  busiest days of the holiday season for businesses.  The holiday season is just about here, find out what you NEED in your ads to stand out this holiday season.  Since they’re so new, most likely, your competitors won’t know about them just yet.  Jump on board quick.  Check out the podcast below:

 

Instructions for adding structured snippets:

Create account-level structured snippets:

  1. Click Campaigns to go to the All Campaigns page.
  2. Click the Ad extensions tab.
  3. Choose Structured snippet extensions from the View drop-down menu.
  4. Click +Extension.
  5. Click +New structured snippet.
  6. Choose a language and then a header from the dropdown menus. This header will be shown in front of the values (snippets) you enter.
  7. Enter at least 3 values. These values should be specific items or attributes that match the header category.
  8. Click Save.

Create campaign-level structured snippets:

  1. Choose the campaign you’d like to add the extension to.
  2. Click the Ad extensions tab.
  3. Choose Structured snippet extensions from the View drop-down menu.
  4. Click +Extension.
  5. Click +New structured snippet.
  6. Choose a language and then a header from the dropdown menus. This header will be shown in front of the values (snippets) you enter.
  7. Enter at least 3 values. These values should be specific items or attributes that match the header category.
  8. Click Save.
